Physics Agent Simulators

Experiments in Emergent Behavior and Steering Forces

Simulator 01: Ecosystem

This is an agent-based simulation implementing simple steering behaviors. Each sphere is an autonomous agent with position, velocity, and acceleration. Their interactions are not pre-calculated but emerge from the forces they apply to each other:

  • Separation: Red agents avoid crowding each other.
  • Seeking: Blue agents actively chase the Red ones.
  • Cohesion/Fleeing: Yellow agents group together while fleeing from Blue agents.

Simulator 02: Hunter & Prey

In this second iteration, a new Green agent is introduced, adding complexity to the chain. The Green agents actively hunt the Blue agents, but simultaneously must flee to avoid the Red agents.

Red and Blue agents move with more randomness in this version. This creates a complex, dynamic behavior of hunting and evasion loops.
